Engine
of War - A 3D Shoot 'em up/Build-stuff
game. Build over 8 months with a small team,
this project was one of the most valuable
to me, in terms of work experience. It is
currently being published by
Akella.

Garden
- An interactive painting, the game allows
the player to slowly grow each part of it,
until the screen is filled with colour.
It was featured on Indiegames.com.

The
Scourge - A horror experience, this game
experiements with interactive storytelling,
placing the player in the game as both the
protagonist and the storyteller. I worked
with the talented Craig
D. Adams and the ultra-cool Arthur
Zaragoza on this project. |

Yalfal's
Adventures - A basic action game, I made
this in 4 days for my sister, as she found
my other games too hard to play. I made it
for her, but since then, her teacher has used
it to teach math to the whole class.

Tactics
Zen - A real time tactics game done in
abstract, allowing me to use units such as
blocks of spearmen vs. such units as heavy
bombers and hover tanks.

Review
by Jim
Mcginnly:
| "Toronto genius Michael Todd, programmer
of TOJam's The Scourge, recently won the IndieGame
Developers Showcase thanks to his 1-man masterpiece
Engine of War. He was up against some seriously
good competition, and it was a public vote,
so you know this game is good. Imagine an
action game where you can completely rewire
your ship. Now stop imagining because there's
a demo. " |
